Mike sits on the Board of Governors for the San Francisco
NARAS (Grammy) Chapter. He has been a moderator and
guest speaker at conferences such as Tape Op Con 2007
and 2008, hosted mastering events at his studio during
AES 2006 and 2008, along with teaching and lectures
and various state, community, and technical colleges
on the subject of mastering. A strong believer in educating
youth to the advantages of great sound, Mike created
the "Audio Outreach" seminar series hosted
at Leo's Pro Audio in Oakland, CA. After dedicating
himself to mastering in 2001, Mike has been driven to
improving all aspects of the mastering lifecycle.
