Craig Tweddell is a jazz trumpet player currently residing
in Louisville, Kentucky. He maintains a busy performing
schedule throughout the mid-west and has played with
numerous locally and nationally recognized groups/artists
including The Temptations, Mixolegion, Dick Oatts, Dave
Samuels, Byron Stripling, Lee Konitz, Jamey Aebersold,
Jack Wilkins, Pat Harbison, Tyrone Wheeler, Bennett
Higgins, Jonathan Higgins, Dave Clark, Tommy Poole,
Jacob Duncan , Anderson Pesoa, Alim Nastaev, Mike Tracy,
and Bobby Falk to name a few. In addition to playing
Craig is also very active with music education. Since
2006 he has been the trumpet instructor at the Don Wilson
Music store, he is the co-director of the Don Wilson
Music Jazz Academy and directs numerous high school
and middle school jazz bands throughout the Louisville
area. Most recently Craig became the newest member of
the trumpet faculty at the prestigious Jamey Aebersold
Summer Jazz Workshops where he directs student combos
and conducts trumpet masterclasses. For more information,
