In 2009 CEntrance redefined portable
Hi-Fi with a revolutionary product called DACport,
a small, USB-powered soundcard. DACport's amazing sound
quality earned it a place on the Stereophile recommended
components list for 6+ years!
In 2015 we added HD support, offering
DSD playback, picosecond clocks and sampling rates up
to 384kHz. The ultra-slim DACport HD immediately
became a hit and sold thousands of units within months
of introduction.
It's hard to build upon the legacy
but we were determined to push the envelope even further.
On customers' request, we've added a Rechargeable Battery
and our legendary HiFi-M8 EQ, offering total freedom

With over 100 licensing clients under our
belt (Benchmark, McIntosh, Lavry, others), CEntrance wrote
the book on USB audio. We designed DACportable as a true 32-bit
device, ensuring"bit-for-bit" audio fidelity, at
all supported sample rates, across all supported OSs.
The art of digital-to-audio conversion is
in the quality of the clock. CEntrance's clock management
system uses military spec clock oscillators with 10ppm precision.
Our JitterGuard™ clock cleanup system earned us enthusaistic
reviews from Stereophile and dozens of other audio publications.
Capacitors introduce distortion. DACport's
Class-A audio circuit is direct-coupled (capacitor-free),
maintaining audiophile quality all the way to the headphones.
DACport's advanced, low-distortion Class-A
amplifier circuit runs on super-clean 18V rails (±9V,
bipolar supply). Higher voltage means lower distortion, higher
headroom and more output power to drive any headphones.
